Phone Link serves as a bridge between Alexa devices, such as the Amazon Echo speaker, and your smartphone or tablet. This integration allows for a variety of functionalities, including reading and sending text messages, initiating phone calls, locating lost devices, and streaming music and audio files. To maximize its potential, it is recommended to use the Phone Link app alongside the Phone Link Alexa skill.

 <li>Phone Calls:
 This feature allows users to initiate phone calls through their Alexa device. If a Bluetooth connection is absent, the smartphone’s speakerphone will automatically activate. Simply state, "Ask Phone Link to call John Smith."

 Phone Link can read and send text messages from numerous popular applications such as Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp, and SMS services. Additionally, it can read and respond to emails received in Gmail by monitoring incoming notifications—an approach similar to that used by Wear OS and Android Auto. You may say, "Ask Phone Link to send a text to Jane Doe," or "Ask Phone Link to read my messages."
 For devices that support it, Alexa can also notify you of unread messages. When noticed, simply ask, "Alexa, what did I miss?"

 This feature enables users to stream music and audio files stored on their Android devices directly to their Alexa devices or app. Users have the option to command playback by specifying playlists, titles, albums, artists, or genres.
